Problem with TSv2

Every time I start it up i get this

TDSoundOut.Open(FDsound.CreateSoundBuffer):The Control(Volume,pan and so forth)requested by the caller is not available


I can hear people but I am muted no matter what I try to do..

I am running DX8.1

are we supposed to guess which hardware you use?

in you profile i could find some information, but not detailed enough...
you're running win98se, using a "soundblaster" (which one?)

did you already try to switch to wave sound in your ts-client under settings / options ???

Ok my sound blaster isnt working right so I had to take it out,SO i am using the motherbord Audio.



1.1 gig.
256 ram
64 gforce 4
80 gigs of space


And yes I did

so your problem is solved now?

if not I'd like to know more about your onboard soundcard... because there is a huge variety of onboard soundcards, all acting in a different way.

Try uninstalling your SoundBlaster drivers, it looks like your computer is still trying to access them.

While you are at it, try and find updates to the drivers for the onboard sound on your motherboard. check with motherboard manufacturer.
