I thaught TS2 were working good with GR but the more we test it the more it's obvious that it's not working that well
The voice starts to hack as soon as a game is started and if we are more than 2 persons on the server then it's nearly impossible to understand each other after a while. We have tried all sound codec and the same happends even though it's less when we use the CELP 5.1 than when we use GSM 16.4. I hope that there is a solution to this..
I had problems with TS2.0 - Ghost Recon 1.2.10 - WinXP too.
During a multiplayer game over the net with 3 players the communication started to hack and break up as soon as you start to move through the map. As soon as you stopped moving the coms were working correctly again.
Very odd to be in a middle of an exciting game and you have to stop because you want to talk to a teammate....LOL.
I hope they fix this because I REALLY love this new TS, great job guys.

After some testing last night, and with some help of "ZOO"Spider, we have figured how to get the TS2 working with Ghost Recon. 1. In your settings - options - sound devices - you should enable wave instead of direct sound. 2. Jump to settings - options - other - go down to process priority, and set the value to REALTIME. Be aware that when u have enabled realtime, you might have to minimize the TS2 window with clicking the TS2 icon in the down left corner, and press hide.
All codecs seems to work with this, but we used the GSM 14.8.
This solved the problem for us, but would have been nice with some feedback on it.
Anyway, thanks for good work!

Yo!
I have awful problems with TS. Same as above, as soon as the map starts the sounds are distorted as hell. As soon as i alt+tab or go game menu everythin works fine again. XP pro, SP1, Audigy latest drivers...

1. In your settings > options > sound devices tab- you should enable wave instead of direct sound.

2. Jump to the tab called other - then go down to process priority, and set the value to REALTIME. Be aware that when u have enabled realtime, you might have to minimize the TS2 window with clicking the TS2 icon in the down left corner, and press hide.

My squad are desperate for an alternative to our slowly worsening RW comms.
Having run early trials with TS2 we were pretty impressed, albeit this was only 2 users via a public server.
I then proceeded to dl the server software & setup a server on my pc. Again trials were good, this time with 3 users.
Last night we put it to the test in a ladder match and frankly it was crap. Worse than anything we ever had from RW on a bad day. :(
I've read the above posts in the hope of finding a cure ( as we want TS2 to be the way forward) but I hit a stumbling block straight away in that my setup doesn't have a "realtime" option. On that page I have "normal" & high". Is high the same as realtime?
On a server note, does anyone out there use the server software and can they host a TS server from the same pc they play GR?
My pc's not the greatest, 800 celeron, 192mb ram but it copes comfortably with hosting an RW server & playing GR. I'd like to think I can get the same with TS2.
Thx
