Thanks for reading....

I have 2 questions.

1. What is the user limit on the RC_2 server? I've been attemptin to change it and seems to tell me that I don't have permission to do so with the admin ID.

2. What would all of yuo suggest as a user limit for a server running on DSL?

Thanks for your replies!

You may have asked 100 times on this forum, but ive looked just as many and have not found an answer.

Thanks for having the answer but being inconsiderate enough to NOT post it here.

I cant seem to find it either, or figure it into the new TS2 Server. I get the same message.

@Arturos
wait a moment...
I enter "user Limit" into the search field and....schwups... I get a list of matches in which the third has the answer to it.

You can't find it
Is this too much expected from you ?

Here are the steps that i've found...

I don't mind taking the time to reply. I too had some trouble finding the answer.

Step 1: Login as SuperAdmin

Step 2: Click "servers" under the main menu

Step 3: You should see on the right of the screen 3 buttons. The Third to the right ius an arrow and labeled select server. Choose this one.

Step 4: Now under the main menu you have all of the options to change settings on that server. Select "server settings" under main menu.

Step 5: You should now see the server options menu. You can now change the number of users and save! :)

All set. :D

I am really disappointed that the rest of you can't take the time to post a link to the original forum where this answer is listed. I'm not sure you are going to get support for this product from the community unless you take the time to be polite to people in a position to purchase licenses.

It's unfortunate that this is how you choose to behave in front of potential customers.

Uh... only 4? O_o
I run a TS2 RC2 server on my ADSL 640/256.. I already had 20 active users on my server and no problems at all. No choppy sound and no wide latency... (this is what they told me..)
What u r saying make me thinking hard...
FAQS says "windows CELP 5,2 =640 bytes/secs per user .. make your own calculation"
Plz explain (if u have time)

(edited: and excuse my poor english, if u can :( )

Ty, Mauro :)

When the best is the cheapest(free) , most popular amongst serious "gamers" and 98% of all answers to questions are to be found in the FAQ / Manual / Forum, The TS-Team and all us regular forum posters can best support you by spending our time making things better for you and not get bogged down answering stupid lazy questions.

In fact you should spend some time getting to know your forum etiquette.

Ehm... probably u don't want a reply for this...
But.. u r right. What moomox wrote is for the "tone" (accept this concept) not for the contents. U probably know that we ALL TS users have "lazy brains", it's more simply to ask instead to read kilometers of Faqs.
A more gentle answer? Like "plz search within the Faqs, u'll find all u need"?
I repeat this.. u r right. I know the tons of boring questions u daily have to answer. I think pwk hates windows systems... isn't it? :)
Well kill this post if u don't like it. it's only my own opinion.
That's all.
Always Ty for spending time, money and energy for developing TS, indeed. :)
Mauro.

P.S. if I can help in any way, plz let me know.
