I have a huge problem... I will explain i after i tell u all my specs.. I have a Xp, SB LIVE! And i play raven sheild. Well i get on ts and every thing is fine but after i start playing rvs for a little while this ANNOYING buzzing alien type sound comes on and my clan says it is really loud. and tehy have to kick me from the server. And i am constantly trsnmiting after it comes on.. I dont think its my mic b/c it comes on after about 10mins of playing raven sheild... But if im not playing it dosnt come on... It might be a interfierence between my cd rom... but i dont think so becuase i muted cd audio.. I Downloaded the KX drivers and they didn't help... I downloaded the latest Creative drivers and they didnt help... I DONT KNOW WHY THIS SOUND TRANSMITS AFTER I PLAY FOR A LITTLE WHILE! oh yah and after it starts transmitting it. If i leave and come back it still transmits.. But i cant hear it unless i do a test.. I cant even hear it transmitting in the server only the people on ts with me can.. PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!

PS:: i have a mute switch on my mic... and if i mute my mic it still transmits this sound.

::This Might Help:: I think it might also not be bussing but VERY LOUD STATIC!

the problem is known for WinXP and SoundBlaster Live!/Audigy cards, but actually you're the first one who claims that the kx-project drivers didn't solve the problem.
Are you sure that they didn't solve your problem, or did you just have problems setting them up correctly and thus installed creative drivers again?

I'd really like to help you, but until now all these problems disappeared when a switch to kx-project drivers was done. But still Niels tries to find out what causes the problem and tries to fix it... so stay tuned with the new developer releases... http://www.teamspeak.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3854

I have the same problem, but I'm using the Creative drivers, so it's obvious. Could you provide a link to those KX drivers?
I found a quick temporary fix (more like a quick reset), I go to the options and switch the input to my USB webcam, click apply, and switch back and I'm good for another 10+ minutes. I'm not sure, but the problem seems to happen when I'm quiet for a long time.

IsolationX, if something, maybe your cpu-cooler or pc housing cooler, induced a little voltage into your microphone wire, that would explain why you could only hear it when doing the local loopback test....
Just an idea.
