My system:
I have a TS server running behind a Linksys BEFSR41 router (UDP port 8767 forwarded) attached to a PCX1100U cable modem. I have an advertised down/up bandwidth of 2Mbits/sec down and 384kbps up. This was verified through dslreports speed test to be around 1800 down and 370 up.
TS server version is 2.0.19.40. Max users 50 (normally 15-25 on). Codex GSM 14.8

My Problem:
When 10+ users join they all stay connected but are unable to hear each other. I am behind the router and I am able to hear everyone. They are all getting huge packet loss (50-80%). I am getting 0% loss. This is with and without the game computer connected to any game.

This server has worked perfect since November. I moved about 10 miles and had to switch from a Motorola cable modem to the Toshiba. Same ISP, Time Warner.

This issue started right after the move and switching of the cable modem. I upgraded the TS server to 2.0.19.40 after the problem started. Issue continues.

The PCX1100U software was upgraded by Time Warner. Problems still continues.

I would guess it's all the switching around (move, modem). Did you verify the speeds after or before the move?

How is the connection with one or two connected to TS?

Might need to talk with ISP perhaps. :/

verified the speeds after the problem started happening, so after the move

called Time Warner, not much help

connection is ok with just a couple of people connected, <10% packet loss

I think it's the ISP.

All of a sudden one day i started getting pings 600-1200 on ATTBi and lasted over 7 weeks. I contacted ATTBI over a dozen times and would not fix it--evidentally, there was no problem. My speeds were still fine about 90% of the time (1.8mpbs/256kbps), just not the ping.

I'm not sure how long it lasted because after 7 weeks, I decided to change ISP's and ever since switching to Speakeasy, no problems.

Sorry to hear :(
