hi guys

i was wanderin what i have to do inorder to set up my own server and so people can join it while using DSL-504

i have tried using port redirection in my DSL configuration from the external ip address to my machine ip address 192.168.0.7 using port 8767, but no luck. i have tried and i can connect internaly via LAN ie: 192.168.0.7 but cannot external connection.

i have also tried bounding my external ip address in the server.ini file but that doesnt work either.

Using:
WinXP
DSL-504 18uk frimware
TeamSpeak Server English V 2.0.r19.b40
TeamSpeak Client English V2.0.29.47

Any Advice would be helpful

this is what i did.

Win xp.
linksys router.
1.5mb Cable.

Make sure xp firewall is off. The linksys router will be your firewall.
forward port 8767 to your server pc IP address (192.168.0.7) (see your router info for this process)

if you want to be able to access your ts server webadmin (from outside your local network) you have to forward port 14534 also to that ip address (see your router info for this process)

for webposting you need port 51234 forwarded.

start your server and use your external ip address and port number as your ts server address ex. 24.123.23.244:8767

and you should be up and running
