Have been using TS for over 2 months now with no problems... updated to latest version about a month ago and everything was find until today. Now when I open TS I get the following error:

"The function called is not supported. The value is equal to the E_NOTIMPL standard COM return value". I have changed NOTHING on my system - Windows 98SE, I/E 6.x, DirectX v9.0.

I've checked other posts here and can't see anything to try.

If anyone has any ideas, please advise soonest.

Thanks,
HJ

I strongly advise you to use the search function to fix this.

I followed pwk.linuxfans advice and found the answer within 30 seconds. So USE the search... that button's there to USE it.

We should take away this Report Post to moderator if people aren't even taking the time to do a search.. and if you think this is rude, you have another thing coming!

I used the "Search" to find other messages on this subject *long* *before* I posted my question - there were 3. I had already tried all the suggestions (I/E version, Directx, re-install lastest video drivers, etc. *before* posted.

What is the problem with you people? I've been a computer support tech for over 15 years and I think I know a little bit about posting messages and don't need your condescending attitude. If you don't have anything useful to say, back away from the keyboard!

Now now,

no reason to become upset, we are all on your side :). The problem about your first post was, that you didnt tell us what you tried already (even though the smart-questions guide tells you to :P). So - a better question would have been to say "...tried reinstalling newest directx, got newest sound drivers, etc.".
If you did everything that the search function gives you - then I have no clue on how to fix the problem - keep us posted if you find out though.

Yep, the regulars on this board show amazing patience. Try subscribing to the procmail mailing list and asking a question. Be prepared to wear two sets of asbestos underwear, though!
