I've seen people make web addres ex: faze-kicksass.net

How do you make servers on websites that are up 24/7 like that?

(faze's server is offline now)

Ahem. This is the Teamspeak Forum not a Web Hosting forum.

If you want to know how to get a 24/7 Teamspeak server look at this (http://www.teamspeak.org/modules.php?op=modload&name=TeamSpeak_Hoster&file=index).

EDIT: @SatanClaus: Lol, a tick faster.

@CATS_Commander

are you looking for a way to use a fix Domain name like faze-kicksass.net instead of a changing IP for your TS server ?

=> www.dyndns.org
or
=> www.no-ip.com

read the manual on this pages !

i think what he meens may be the same thing i need. i have currently suck a%% comcast cable,long story short i can no longer host a teamspeak server for my clan.is there a way to host a private clan server on a web site/web space that i currently have, without the server having to use my cable to run on? so my clan could just type in the web site url and see the teamspeak server to join from there. is this possable? will teamspeak admins allow this if so? thnx in advance guys :)

To run a teamspeak server you need the right to install and execute software on the system that is hosting your web space.
Normal web space hosters normally do not support this.
So I don't think that you can run a TS server on your current web space (But who knows, check out what your web space provider offers to you).

If you want to rent a TS2 server check out the link above or check out:

http://www.teamspeak2.de/

(Site is in german and registration is currently closed, but they try to offer free/ad powered TS2 servers. They have promised to accept registrations again soon)
