Hey everyone

Like you, I'm having problems with the server. I am on a LAN cable internet connection, first of all, and this, I believe is the problem. The router.

When I set up the server, I am only able to connect to it using the private IP address, the 192.168 one. But my real IP is something completely different. When I try to connect using the real IP, it does not allow me to connect.

Some people are talking about ports that I have to set up, but frankly, I have no idea what to do.

1) from within the LAN ONYL use the LAN IP. Most router can not handle connectiosn over the WAN IP which have to be routed back into the LAN !

2) To make sure people from the WAN can connet to your server (by using the WAN IP) you have to FORWARD the TS server port (see FAQ) to your server LAN IP.
I can't tell you how to do a "port forwarding" with your specific router since nearly every router has a diff. config. Read your router manual or ask in a true router forum.
