I'm truly sorry if this has been asked before, but alot of thread titles are a little vague, and though I read through most of 'em, I wasn't about to wade through every one. Also, this question may not belong in this forum, or even on this board at all...if you take humbrage, I'm sorry.
Anyhow, anyone know of a way to send wavs through TS? I mean, aside from playing them through your speakers and into your microphone:) ...
I guess it's not a terribly important question, but I'd like to know anyway. We are a pretty strange clan...
Thanks in advance!

No, I don't think this is teamspeak's focus.
If you want to exchange files, I'd suggest running an IM at the same time you run teamspeak that's capable to send files, like ICQ.
Tho.... :) If you want to be veryvery strange you could try to uuencode the WAV and send it as a textmessage to your channel :)

10-4! I might just try that!
But, to be clear about my intentions: I wanted to be able to play some small Quake2 sound files over the air....realtime....without having to have them go from my speakers through the microphone (thereby sounding like crap). I figure there's got to be a way to route sounds directly through the microphone input, but I ain't found it yet....
Thanks!

A second sound card! Mic plugged to the first one, Quake-wav's played by the first one as well,
connect line-out of the first to the line-in of the second one, choose line-in of the second card
as your recording device! So the first one acts like a mixer!
Oh, and the game should use the second card!
Wierd enough? The configuration is a bit tricky, but it will work!

Aha! I just happen to have a spare soundcard floating around. I'll give it a shot. Thanks!
Actually... There is another way to do it too.. If your useing windows, open up the volume control pannel, click options, properties, recording, select everything, then check off the thing you want to use in place of your microphone, works for me... :) Good luck!

Hey, thanks Matsuo. That actually worked. I have a little distortion problem, but at least I've got input, and the distortion oughtta be fixable. 'Preciate it!
Oh sure, I've done things like that before.. and everyone hates me for it -. .^ Glad I could be of assistiance. Now if only I could get my TS2 server working... Good luck and happy gamming! ^. .^
