growing time delay

Hi all.
Just grasping for a little help here.

I've just recently installed\updated my TS to the new 2.0.32.60 version to match our Clan server that went to 2.0.19.40.
(this is on the heals of a fresh installtion of a ground up rebuild. My HDD crash, and was replaced)

My Problem:
When I log in, my delay is normal, less that 1second.
After a few minutes my delay is up to around 4 seconds!

I've went thougth some of the other posts, but didn't see anything like this.

Any help in this would be warmly welcome

what does your ping say? (menu Info / local connection info)

which hardware do you use, which channel codec and which internet connection do you have? How many people are in the channel?
Any firewall / router in use?

and how are you measuring your delay?

are you talking about hearing yourself from another players machine? You would then have to concider the quality of connection of your teammate.

good questions guys, thanks for the responces.

I feel kind of foolish, but I did switch the Direct sound to wave,
HIT THE APPLY button (for some reason this eluded me before), and my TS has be working just fine.

Sorry for no earlier responce, but I just had the time last night to make sure it was going to work.
