I was trying too get teamspeak to work the other night but when i connected to a server my friend said i was breaking up alot. I recorded my self to test my sound card but that was fine. We tryed setting up ower own server but that did not solve the problem. I've checked my firewall settings but that seems fine.

Q: has anyone any idea what too try next?

and is there away of testing your configeration across the net ( like sending too a server then playing it back) :D

Do you use push to talk or voice activation?

Does it happen if you use push to talk?
If not adjust your voice activation.

häh ? the firewall is set to text chat ????

What the hell of a feature in your firewall do you have ?? I've read many books about firewalls,.... but never come across such a feature

I use norton firewall, It has two ways of configureing, the standard way which is permit and block etc, and the second way which lets u specify what software your running ( chat, voice, games etc).
If i let the norton pick up the software accessing the net and choose between block or permite everything most of the time works ok but every so often u have to customize the firewall and be more accurate with the type of accesse the software wants (teamspeak voise chat)
