Sound Notifications - Players Joining Channel

Is there any way to get a "Player Joined Channel" notification when a player joins a channel. We get a "Player Joined" when a player joins the server, but it would be helpful to know when someone is joining the channel as well. I was looking in the Sound Notification Options and it suggests that a wav file should be played, but it's not. Any ideas?

you could set your server to public mode, but maybe thats not what you want...

So public mode gives channel join announcements? I don't want public mode as we stay with private clan server. That's too bad ... it was a nice feature in TS1, but TS2 if just fantastic so I'll take the great with the little things that I wish were there.
