I d/l'd the new version. Found out that I already had the new version and I guess it reinstalled over it. Since then, my team mates say that I sound real muffled and I am hard to understand. I can hear them like always, clear as a bell. I uninstalled TS with the add/remove program in my control panel, then reinstalled it hoping to fix the prob. It seems that not all of TS is being removed because after I downloaded and installed it again, when I go to connect to the server, it retains all of my info, i.e. server address, login name and password. I believe if I can completely remove TS and start all over, I can achieve the clarity that I had before I reinstalled the new patch. I have tried changing codecs and it has helped a little, but I would like to have the quality back that I had before I reinstalled the new patch. My question is, What else do I need to remove after using the add/remove tool to remove TS from my computer. Thank you for any sugestions or instructions you might be able to provide! S!
1. Id bet money that your config file has nothing to do with your voicequality.
2. If you want to find the place your TS Settings are stored, its a file called TeamSpeak.Conf - somewhere in personal preferences or something.
3. Are you sure you are using the newest version ? 2.0.32.60 should appear if you go help->about. If thats the case, then propably you changed something with your mic/soundcard/mixer - and thats why you sound worse.

Thanks Peter for your reply. I don't remember seeing my mixing board until the quality of my transmissions went south. Even then, I didn't change anything because the settings hadn't changed any, including my microphone.
I don't know where or how to access my sound card, never have needed to.
Thanks for the info on the config file. I will clean that out and try a fresh install. If that doesn't work, then the prob is on my personal end and has nothing to do with the program. Which may I add is an excellent one at that. Thanks again for your help! S!

Unfortunately there are some programs out there that adjust your sound mixer settings automatically. if you ran one of these you may have to open your mixer and rest the setting that work best for you while running teamspeak and your game.
If you had lost your config file before or during re-install you will no doubt have to reset your TS config settings like Wav/Direct
