i have been using teamspeek 2 for a couple weeks. and with my current headset i get two posibilities.

1.) use teamspeek and have no sound in game but be able to talk to my buddies n stuff.

2.)have sound in game but not be able to use teamspeek (not have teamspeek be able to recieve input from my voice).

having a Ensoniq Vivo90 sound card on a windows 98 (operating system) {I think that’s what u call it}. Is there a way that I can get bolth without having to go out and get anything (parts/cards/better headset)?

Try playing with the recording method, wav vs direct sound.

argh same thing happend no matter what combo i used...
with wave my choices are for input soundscape record [534] and for output soundscape playback[534] but with hat selected i dont get any sound outa my game.
however with direct sound the choices for input device are primary sound capture device or soundscape record [534] and for output device they are primary sound driver or Ensoniq soundscape vivo (something else that is cut off after that...). how ever with the direct sound my mike doesnt accept my speech.
no matter what combonation i use one of the things doesnt work...and its starting 2 make me angry.

What game are you playing with teamspeak running?
Is it just one game or different games?

@ufokillerclown: This is most likely a driver / soundcard problem. If there is a driver update available try it.
If not you then your problem is most likely not solveable without buying a new sound card.
