robotic voice in sof2

Hi!

Once in a while when im playing sof2 ,( i dont know if ive the same problem in other games, i play sof2 only :p ) my voice turns robotic..

it helps to restart ts2, but after a while, my voice turns robotic again.. this is very annoying during wars etc..

anyone knows how to fix the problem?

are you using the newest client version ? What version do you read in help->about.

My version is: 2.0.29.47

It's a while since i installed ts2, so it might very old :o

well, ill try installing the latest version, and see if it works..

hmmm i installed the latest version, but it still goes robotic :mad:

btw, ive a hercules gamesurround fortissimo III 7.1 soundcard, maybe this has something to do with it?

Try switching the process priority of TS to high in the options.
Also try to switch between DirectSound and Wave driver (also options).
