i am using the windows client (personal use) for myself and friends and have been trying to modify the 'channel commander' status to say 'dance commander' (electric six reference)...
i have found the menu option under 'self' in the windows client and have hex edited it to change it... however (in the windows client at least) when you click on a player it shows their status/attributes in the right hand window, and under this it still shows as 'channel commander'
i was wondering where the data for that window is sourced, i have looked at all the binaries for plaintext entries of 'commander' and can't find anything that references to the "Player Attributes" section of that window.... is it a server/sql side source... or is it (as i assume it is) client side, and more importantly... will i be able to change it without fully decompiling the client?
any info would be useful, if i can just find where the data is sourced i can begin to look for where to poke it.
(PS... i am not trying to rip off teamspeak's code, i just want to make the client a little more custom for myself and friends)
