Warped Sound

When talking to people in TS their voices are all warped. I tried changing codecs on the menu thing but theuir all still wapred. And when i test my sound its warped too. But on other programs its clear when ppl talk. I have WinXP latest SiS 7018 drivers..i searched for google but couldent find any new....its like 7/02 what i have now. Im not sure what soundcard i have though. Yes i did read the FAQ. Please help

What is "warped"? Do you hear chipmunks? Distorted sound? Static?

lol funny funny..... when ppl talk its like pops and squeaks. and when i record when i talk in there for the codecs its like that. But other ppl hear me clear, and in other programs it works.
