Hi,

Running latest version of Windows Client - when in Medal of Honor, my right-shift key doesn't work which stops one of my actions in the game working.

I have NO key bindings configured in TeamSpeak and I use Voice Activation, not press-to-talk.

I had the same issue with BattleCom.

Any suggestions please?

Thanks

Fedorov.

for all problems with the keyboard if TS is running (same on BC and RW), disable the NUM-Lock...

this will help

How about adding the Num-Lock/Shift problem to the FAQs? Quite a lot of people ask about this or very similar problems and since this problem wont be solved with any further version unless Microsoft is changing something in theire direct input code, adding it to the FAQ could offer much faster help then answering the same question over and over.

hi,
same problem here. i use the arrow key for movement and rigth SHIFT to crouch. when i play counter-strike and use TS at the same time i always crouch. then tried the faq hint and deaktivated "num lock". (num lock deakt.): now almost everything workes fine. only crouching (shift) and moving (arrow keys) at the same time wouldn't work. sound funny, but i use this combination very often.

so please help ;)

I play RTCW and use my shift as crouch as well.I disabled my numlock and now have same problem as you do.Cant stay crouched while moving.I end up standing up and moving until I stop then it crouches again.Doesnt sound funny at all cause most of these kinda games gives you better accuracy while your crouched, moving and shooting as apposed to standing, moving and shooting.I need help on this issue as well. One thing I might add is when I use Ventrillo, these problems do not occur but my team uses TS cause its free and I get screwed trying to play with it open.

Ahm... sounds a little bit wierd.

You disabled numlock and then you have this problems? Are you sure that the little light indicating the NumLock status isnt glowing?

This would be the very first time in more than year that disabling NumLock didn't solve the problem.

btw... If it really doesnt help you have the option in Teamspeak 2 to disable the direct input. But be aware that by doing so, you will also switch off the option to bind any keys (such as push to talk or any other action bound to a key by teamspeak)

No Im postitive my numlock is off.BUT.I already figured out the major problem when numlock was on.It screwed up all my controls as now when its off all are ok except for one.Like I said my shift key is my crouch but when I try to move while crouched it doesnt stay crouched.I end up standing up and moving until Im stopped then it crouches again.I need to know why its not staying crouched. It stays fine when TS is closed.

Shit dude.Thats what it was.If direct input is disabled my keys(all of them)work fine and also I can still use a push bind to talk.I think this should be put in the FAQ`s.

Windows XP and Teamspeak:

If you are using arrow keys and shift key for movements you will need to turn NumLock off for controls to work properly. If you use shift as a crouch button and are having trouble staying crouched while moving you will need to disable direct input on Teamspeak. You can do this by selecting settings, options, other.By doing this you may have to set voice activation on as some binds may not work properly including push button to talk.

What do ya think?Pretty clear now.Anyway thanks alot.Im happy now:)

Well... i dont intend to make you look like a fool but according to this post ( http://www.teamspeak.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1985 ), the info has been in the FAQ for a long time already.
