Our clan has been using Teampspeak 1.x for a long time and has waited for TS2 for a long time - we have tested it over the last 24 hours and think we have a fairly good set-up. We play Tactical Ops AOT - but this should work for other games like CS too.

I have writen a quick walkthrough for settings and connecting to servers, registering etc on our [GwL] Forums (http://www.clangwlforums.co.uk/thread.php?threadid=433&boardid=1&styleid=1)
It also has any bugs/problems we have encountered and if we managed to sort them out...

Hope this helps guys/gals

Misty

well it did help to read your site but i still have a few question's.

1 I can log in as SA but i still don't get al the fuctions in teamspeak?
2 Why can anyone create channels when they log onto my server?
3 What does a superserveradmin mean and what can you do with it?
4 why can i connect without password to my server?
5 what do the letters mean behind the channels?

A lot of questions en i hope you can answer them for me. I can't find any answers anymore in this forum (correct me if i'm wrong:)

answer to question 2 is the in the server.ini file the serverflags variable sets this i dont remember them off the top of my head but check the server forum and/or do a search on serverflag

answer to question 4 because you are a registered users, only anonymous users need to enter that password in nto registered ones

answer to question 5 the letters mean as follows R=registered channel (this channel will be persitent even without anyone in it or after a server restart) M=moderated only channel admins (ca next to name) sa's or operators can speak in here by default all can listen but if you want to give someone else the right to talk in that channel you must give them voice. P=passworded easy no explanation D=default this is the channel everyone will log into first, if it is passworded they will not be prompted for a password just somethin to think about

possible answer to 1 is go log in via the webapp and edit your user and check the admin and superadmin check boxes not sure what the problem is exactly

answer 3 i have not played around very much as my server is setup how i want it and everything works later ill play around and might have an answer but hopefully someone answers that for you before i do

Well that's a quick and good answer thank you:) I will look for the channel flag thing. I changed the admin rights a few times but i still can't get all the options in the client to work :(

Superserveradmin can admin all your servers that are stated in your server.ini.
You can make several servers there by making sections, superserveradmins can admin all of thosel.

Ok should be a good post but i don't understand nothing from you reply:( Maybe my english?
everyone keeps talking over ini files? Ok i think that they are in my teamspeakmap but you can't change them in the client/server program?
