View Full Version : Teamspeak Server Help
Hi, this has been in my computer for a few months now and i've been trying to figure out how to fix it but it still doesnt work. Here is my problem:
ok, so i start up my pc and everything loads. Then i click on the ''TEAMSPEAK SERVER" icon to start it up. You know how you see that little icon of the server on the bottom right hand corner call the TASKBAR? well, whenever i click to start it, the little icon just appears on the taskbar and disappears like in 1 second and i cant use the server. Is there anyway i can fix this? I've tried uninstalling both the Client AND the Server but this still happens, even when i restart, then reinstall. So help me please?
1. Bad boy for not posting on the right board, I moved the post, but please make sure you post on the apropriate board next time (this is a windows/server question, not "general").
2. Have a look at the server logfile, maybe its having problems with something. Check out the FAQ if you dont know where the log is.
it always keep saying:
08-12-03 18:15:01,ALL,Info,server, Server init initialized
08-12-03 18:15:01,ALL,Info,server, Server version: 2.0.19.40 Win32
08-12-03 18:15:01,ERROR,All,SQL, Database initialization error: Library "sqlite.dll" not found.
08-12-03 18:15:01,ERROR,All,SQL, Database initialization error: Library "sqlite.dll" not found.
08-12-03 18:15:01,ERROR,All,SERVER, Start_TeamSpeak_Server: unable to open database
08-12-03 18:15:01,ERROR,All,GENERAL, critical error, shutdown initiated
But i have the "sqlite.dll" in the same folder, why does this happen?

Good question.
Sins quite a few people seem to have this problem but no one can isolate it I will start wild guesses.
Redownload an reinstall TS from the main download site.
Problem still there?
Do you have a virus scanner running?
Disable it.
Problem still there?
Shut down any running background programs.
Problem still there?
Try to upgrade to the developer release (Download it from the Developer Releases Forum).
Problem still There?
Sorry but I don't have nay more tips.

I am getting a similar response. I have two TS Servers running (on different ports-8767 & 8768). One is up and functional, the other isn't working at all. When I rclick on the TS2 systray icon the "Admin" option is greyed out. I thought I remembered a thread on "re-attaching to admin functions" a while back but can't find it now.
Any help available?

If you don't get an error in the log, just connect to the admin interface manually.
Just enter in your brower:
http://localhost:14534/ (if you are on the same computer)
of
http://ip-of-ts-server:14534/ (if you are not on the same computer)
