Recording in mp3 !

What do you think about an option to record in mp3 ?

And other option to choose the quality output ? choose between 16kbps to 128kbps

why not just convert it when it is done, that would require more work for the developers that is not needed at this time. just use a wav 2 mp3 converter. it's not hard at all. there are free ones out there, just search.

Well,

the answer is, that teamspeak is designed to run alongside cpu intensive applications (like games). Meaning it uses _minimal_ resources...recording to mp3 would be against this design choice, it would simply be too CPU intensive.
For my own purposes I have modified the start script of TeamSpeak to run oggenc over the wavs when quiting. That does the job.
