It would be Kool if you could have custom sounds for each person that logs on to the server, that way you can distinguish who connects to the server :D i already changed the default sounds for TS but this would be a great addition to this kick ass program

That would be cool. I was also thinking along the lines of sounds for when a SA logs in. It was say something to the effet of "Server Admin now online!". Something like that, that way, if someone is waiting for an admin to arrive, they really dont' have to sit there and wait to see them get online, they can be playing a game and hear that and admin has logged on and can jump out of game and ask their question or get help.

We moved from GameVoice to TeamSpeak and love the stability and quality, there is however a function that was available in GV. Player name announcements when joining the server. You could type your name in the client config and it would be announced when you joined. I am not sure if this is suggested somewhere else.....
Also, some sort of notification when someone joins the channel you are currently in would be a nice feature.

Thanks for your time and for making a great gaming tool :D

and?... you are saying that it has been ignored a thousand times and will it be ignored another thousand times? People have to beg for improvements or what? I don't post here much and this is one reason why as to the uppity attitude of some of the replys and you deserve such a reply in return so you shouldn't be surprised as to the attitude of some of the people in the forums sheesh.....

BTW I do really like TS and enjoy it and while I'm at it I'll suggest that the option to send 'text' to a player, channel or all isn't as good as a realtime chat window.

I've suggested this before.

Essentially the best way for this to be handled if it were supported would be to make it so that all the other others of teamspeak wouldn't actually have to download the sound file that is played....the file would "stream" through teamspeak as if the player actually said the sound file into their mic.

For example, I set up a wav file in teamspeak setup. When I join, this file is played from my pc, and heard throughout teamspeak WITHOUT forcing the other clients to download the file. It would take the same bandwidth that standard talking would.

Of course, this will be a cool feature, but some people might not like it, and they'll want to be able to disable such actions with a checkbox or something.

Personally, I think this feature would take teamspeak to the next level. Currently, other similar programs support similar features, but none of them actually stream the file.

Thanks for listening.

I think it would be somewhat helpful.

A few people in the clan I'm in want to use ventrilo just because it has this and TTS (and slightly better sound quality). I don't find it that big of a deal. Just about everything else in it is inferior to TS.
