is he the only one trying to connect with no success from the WAN ?

Or could it be that you have no set up a port forwarding rule in your router ? Did you read the server manual ?

The IP you mention is a LAN IP. Be aware that no one can use this IP to connect from the WAN !

Daquet

Connecting to http://68.116.xxx.xx:xxxxx/ < Actual Ip hid
The operation timed out when attempting to contact (ip address.)

TS says
[18:59:23] Connecting to anteamspeak.gotdns.org
[18:59:26] No reply from server
Maybe the server is offline

What do you mean with that?
Does he try to connect to the Web Interface?
Entering an server address like ths will never work in the TS client.

Can he put his client into debug mode (Settings -> Options -> Other) and post his TSClient.log here?
Is he connecting via the domain name or via the actual ip?
Since gotdns.org is a domain of the dynamic domain service from DynDNS verify that the ip to wich it resolves on his computer (by ping anteamspeak.gotdns.org) matches the actual IP of the server.

PS: Hiding the ip is of no use if you post the domain name directly below.

EDIT: I just verified: I can connect to anteamspeak.gotdns.org with my TS client version 2.0.32.60.

Someone Jumped on my TS chanel and asked if they could access the Admin page/web interface. so I had him try and he was not able to ,

I think it is using the Current version, I also had him uninstall and reinstall , <--- I will get the Version # when I get home from work.

Yeah he can connect if the Router is disconnected on the server side.

He has tried Both the dns and the Ip .

I will have him set it to debug as requested.

Wait ... on the server side?
Then this is most likely a router problem.
Check if the router has no additional packet filters / flood protections active (maybe disable everyting except NAT and the port forwarding temporarily for testing purposes).

Also check out this (http://www.broadbandreports.com/forums/18) router forum if they know about any troubles with that router.

3. I pinged anteamspeak.gotdns.org and it resolved the Ip but timed out.

4. He disconnected his router and still could not connect.

Peter

3. What IP did it resolve to ? The same IP that it resolved to for somebody else (somebody that CAN connect for instance) ?

4. Who disconnected the router ? The server end or the client end ? I bet it wont work even if the server end is directly connected to the internet (yes I said you tried it once and it worked, but I bet it doesnt anymore).

and my question of the day:

can you make any direct connections between you two ? The server side ping the client side (and get responce) ? Or any other form of direct connectiion ?

Daquet

3. It resolves to my IP address, that is supplyed by my ISP,

4. We have tested it with the servers router disconnected it is at this time he can connect with the IP and DNS,

we have also tested it with his router disconnected today, and it was a No go he still could not connect.

So, it does not work as long as the router on the server side is connected but it does work as soon as it is disconnected.

For me it seems obvious that the router on the server side is the problem here.
I don't know what the exact problem is and since this is not a router forum I don't think that you will find anyone here who is competent enough.

You better head over to BroadBand Reports (http://www.broadbandreports.com/forums/18). They have a quite good router forum over there.

backup the server.dbs, server.log and the server.ini. If one of this file is missing, the server will creat new ones in the next startup (I'm not sure at the moment if he overwrites existing one's so backup all of them).

I have resolved this issue.

I have a ambit Cable Modem that has a USB and Ethernet connection, I installed the USB drivers on the TS server and Pluged it in to the cable modem , there for bypassing the Router with that PC,

The Router is connected to the Cable modem Via RJ45 ethernet cables and Pulls its own IP address .

So all is well, thanks for trying to help guys.
