I have recently gone back to the store where I bought my headset to ensure my mircophone is working, it is. I have started to try thousands of different combonations (ok, sorry exxageration) to get my voice to come up. So I try to record my voice, with microphone and all settings on highest volume. I can perfectly hear in the recording "player left/joined" but during the part where I am supposed to be talking, all I get is a high pitched, faint whistle.

If you know what is wrong, please help me, or at least start me moving in the right direction (I can usually get it workign if I am close)

Is your microphone working in local test mode?
Can you record with the microphone in the windows recorder (if you use windows)?

Please also give the infos that are requested in the Forum Rules.
