...EarthLink Dial-up software version 2004 has a KNOWN bug dealing with it's 5X Accelerator plug-in and TS2 Admin Server page login and the TS2 Client page connection login. When using EarthLink's dial-up with the accelerator enabled it can, and usually will, disallow your login to either program. The Admin Server Page login will keep dropping you back to the login page and the Client login will not let you connect!.

I use EarthLink's dial-up when I'm traveling and really don't know about their broadband or wireless applications. I HAVE tested the same situations on 4 different computers and 3 different locations under a variety of connection speeds and ALL with the same results...NOT ABLE TO GET LOGGED ON.

Hope this mite help other EarthLink dial-up users who use TS2 as I do...

The problem may be that the current server (2.0.19.46 and maybe earlier) delivers invalid HTML for the login.html and the slogin.html page.

Go to the httpdocs directory of the server and check if the login.html and the slogin.html ent with </body></html>. If not append </body></html> to the files.

Also make sure that the port is not blocked and that the cookies for the login are accepted by your browser.

Thanks for your reply Dummer Sack but to be truthful, your way is alot of work!(lol) The BEST way I delt with the prob was I simply removed the Accelerator program. It honestly went a lot deeper into causing problems than just TS2. It also caused faulty and incomplete downloads, incomplete webpage errors and the bottom line, it actually slowed down the system info build dealing with html accopt scripts. I guess to sum it all up, the program sucks and EarthLink itself is not far behind. I have to deal with a dial-up connection due to the very remote area I working in for the next 6 weeks but I'm going to try the NetZero thing...
