I am using TS and playing Battlefield 1942. I turned my sound to 11hz in bf1942, and the problems still exist. However, when I play other games such as CS, it runs perfectly fine. I need to use TS and BF.

The problem is that when I load up BF 1942 I get some severe lag. For example, when someone does the radio command "Requesting Pickup!", all I hear is "Re, Re, Re". I constantly hear some sort of chopper/plane noise.

My sound is onboard, on my mobo with dolby 5.1

MSI KT3 ultra mobo

I have all the updated drivers. I am using the Logitech Stereo USB Headset 200.

Anyhelp is appreciated.

I get the same problem, but mine is a bit different. everytime i quit one server and try to go to another server. It gives me this error sound, but the game continues to load. I get no lag but when i quit that second server. i get lag to the max. when i finally get to quit BF1942, i see that TS created an error that says something about an exception code, i will try to take a screen shot next time and post it, but it kinda sucks that i have to log off and log back in to my computer in order for my computer to work properly. :(

I use TS and Battlefield 1942 all the time and have had no probs. I've lowered my sound quailty down to 11hz as well. It seems when you are around a lot of people it lags up even though your ping is low. Try looking at the BF server you are connecting to if the dot is red I belive it means the server itself is slow...

Also try putting BF on High Priority and using a diffrent voice codec on TS.
