Just curious to know if it is possible to have TS2 down mix higher codec channels.
Ie. 56kers are in one channel using CELP 5.1 and broadband users are in another room using speex 16.3 or higher. Both can talk to each other.
Obviously for this to happen the 16.3 streams need to coverted down for CELP 5.1 users at the server(for bandwidth reasons). This would be a great feature as it would allow broadband users to enjoy the full quality sound TS2 provides while not leaving 56k users out (they may suffer a bit more latency in the voice streams because of the converstion. But thats a small price I feel for such a feature).
P.S. Im not sure how channel commander streams work when going cross channels, but maybe this is already half implemented.
