The only advice I can give you is to read your router manual.

perhaps your router's support website might be able to help better?

OMFG, Microsoft selling routers, that will be the day, if there's one company that does NOT understand networking it's them.

Look closely at the thing, 100:1 it's an OEM. See if youcan find the original maufacturer and go to their web-site

http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/broadbandnetworking/productdetails.aspx?pid=003#

So Microsoft says this product is cool, easy to use PLUS they got toll-free product support :D
Phone them now, you paid for it!

Go to page 18 1/2 way down.

Took me just over 3 minutes to find, and I had trouble getting to the "manual" on ms site.

PRIME example!! that's all I have to say

lol, sry

well, the first day of my thermodynamics II class, our professor from MIT said "ya know when they say 'it's not rocket science', well, this class is rocket science!"

it was kinda funny, but I think we were more scared than anything :)

in my opinion this has nothing to do with beeing a rocket scientist. This is a question of beeing lazzy or not :(

Hope Zero-Point's link helps someone else too !

Ok People - I am also running into problems with Port Forwarding - the links that were provided earlier int his thread do now work correctly - click them to see for yourself.

If anyone has succesfully set up this model router with Team Speak - please contact me with the correct / specific instructions on how to accomplish it. It will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks much

Ham C.

Or even better please post it here. This could help to prevent another dozen or so threads about the very same topic from flaring up.

Well when I hit the links - it keeps trying to d/l messenger 5 rather than showing the pdf file with the specific information - and hangs - repeatedly - so hoping someone has this base station and uses TS and can tell me how to fill in the blanks - thanks much - I do at least appreciate the 2 previous responses - it shows someone is at least looking over the post - later - thanks in advance for any help.

Still hoping someone has an MN-500 Wireless Base Station and can tell me speciffically what to put in the port forwarding sections - when I put in 8767 Outbound and 1024-65535 as Inbound and trigger and public type as UDP it will still not let anyone log on from outside - though I am able to log in on this side of the network - so if anyone has this same type of router and has successfully set up the TS Server software - please let me know what you did - thanks

Ham
