help with ts

sorry if this has been post before.

everytime me and some friends try to connect to whoever is running the server we get

[12:21:15] Got a bad response from the server

any help/ideas

make sure you use the appropriate version of server and client. Older versions are not (always) compatible with newer one's.

im using the latest
that i got last night from the site
client 2.0.32.60
server 2.0.19.40
log file reports this:

30-12-03 13:47:45,2568,ERROR,ProcedureInfo,Client Open,EidSocket: Socket Error # 10061
Connection refused.

seems just having zone alatm installed but not running causes this problem.

Wow, that sucks! Just installed!?!?! Again, ZA screws stuff up again. lol

Known problem that ZA screws up stuff even when it is not running.

~insert string of invective here~ I read this post early in my troubleshooting process but when it mentioned ZA I was like "oh I deactivated that" and back out before reading that last post . . . uninstalling the program worked. ARGH!!

Anyways . . . good to have it working.
