I was testing the v2 client/server, decided to register with the name Bite Me (space between Bite and Me) and registered successfully.

Tried to delete the user Bite Me with the web interface, and got an error user Bite not deleted or somthing like that.

Looks like the space threw the delete routine off.. I edited the db file with a hex editor to fill in the space with another alpha-numberic char, and was able to delete that name.

Yep, I have the same problem deleting users with a space in their name. Looks like we'll have to tell users to not use spaces and hex edit the ones that already do in the mean time.

Ewwww a Bug! kill it!

Well there is some kind of workaround. It seems that if you click on the red X it doesn't carry over all the Characters or spaces.

So in the meantime you might as well try to rightclick on the red cross and save the shortcut.

Then you open up a new Browserwindow and paste the link into the address bar. Should work then...I hope :D

If that doesn't work then in the new window you need the following in the address bar

h**p://yourserver.com:adminport/DELETE_CLIENT.TSCMD?client=
( it is shortening URLS in here )

then behind the = you simply copy the name from the listing with all spaces and characters and hit enter. This way you get around the confirmationpage that seems to cause this behaviour.

the things you lern by just reading posts like this...
So a space somewhere in a username wil disable the option of deleting that specific user...
