My problem is that it's impossible to log into the server as an admin.

I follow the instructions. Start the server, close the server, get the password from the log, try to log in, it doesn't work.

However, if I start the server, check the log, but DON'T close the server, log in, it works.

However, if I shut the server down, then start it again, it's like the admin user doesn't exist. Or the password is incorrect. I try to log in, but it just tells me I don't have access.

*BUMP*

Yes I am getting this too

once the server is running, if you close it down and restart it you cant login as admin or as a registered user from a client.

You can re-install the server app over the top and this seems to make it work again.. but this is only a workaround.

re-install keeps old settings like passwords and channels

I've resolved this problem by changing the shortcut for the TS server and added the "Start In" directory. It now saves users properly.

I've solved it now, by skipping the part where I'm supposed to close down the server before checking the log-file for password.

Instead I checked it while running it for the first time, logged in as admin, and changed the given password to something of my own. I also created a second user with admin rights.

This seemed to make things work properly.

Could just be a fluke, though.
