Try going to start, control panel, hardware and sound, then click sound. Click on the recording tab up top, and make sure the microphone is enabled. Then go back to TS3 and see if you can enable it.

Easy fix. Go to Options>Settings>Notifications>On Right, Other>Uncheck "Talk While Muted".

Apply.

It should be fixed.

If the server is added to the bookmarks then do this.

1) Press CTRL+B (Bookmarks)
2) Click on the bookmark to the server
3) Click more
4) On right: Capture Profile=Default & Playback...
