I have this problem too. Please post how you solved it.
This thread is here to help mac users get TS working on their computers. Please post only helpful stuff or questions here. If you start whining, or asking when TS3 will come out, this thread will...
I am having the same problems with my 2nd server. I can add a user through the webinterface, through self-registering, or by directly editing the database. But no matter what, I cannot login to the...
I believe I figured it out
I use Webmin to manage my mysql database.
The problem was I had created a user with permissions from ANY host. I deleted that user and started again.
Not sure what I'm doing wrong.
Created new user
Installed latest server under user home dir
created mysql db called "ts"
created user for the db "ts"
I have most of my keybinds bound to two keypresses to avoid accidently transmitting or changing channels while I'm in the thick of battle.
It can be very advantagous to map the same key multiple...
Gilmour? As in WWIIOL? :)
We Axis have the same problem and its driving us nuts. The only work-around presently is to set the server in "public" mode; which creates more problems (limiting...
We just upgraded to the latest Linux server (184.108.40.206) and our bandwidth has about tripled!
Changes on the new server:
TS software upgrade.
server is now in public mode, not clan mode
I checked out Mantis and didn't see any reference to this bug so I posted one.
Deserves a bump.
Odie3 touches on another point; the distinction of servers in a superserver or lack thereof. They all share the same tables which makes separating one particular server from a superserver a pain. ...
This is a common problem of people who use Teamspeak from VirtualPC for the Mac. No know solution at this time.
It would be easier to help if you provided more information like your hardware...
I'm not sure about your connection problems but I can help you with your mic.
Open up TeamSpeak,
From the settings menu select sound input/output settings
In the Settings window, click the...
SHFolder.dll is a windows file library for the shell folder service. It should be located in the /windows/system32/ folder. If it is not there, perhaps you can find a backup from...
Try uninstalling and reinstalling.
Hey there Ltibbs, do you play Axis?
Our main server crashed and we have just completed a new one with many more features made possible by our database links.
Go to okw.wwiiol.net and register.
Your friend may have an old client. Current version is 220.127.116.11
Thanks, that makes sense.
However, is there any way to keep the channel list from "bouncing" or scrolling every time a player changes channels when the server is in clan mode? We have a fairly...
In our former server (clan type), we used the "whisper to all channel commanders" keybind a lot. Now we are using a public type server because we hate the client scrolling every time someone changes...
I just moved my server behind a wireless bridge and I'm getting the same problem.
If I login from another location using the public IP, it works.
If I login registered from behind the bridge...
Very sorry for bumping my own thread but...
deserves a bump
I posed that pic to better explain the feature I would like to see in a future version of teamspeak. It doesn't exist now. I edited the pic to show the "in own channel family" selection as opposed...
Here is an example of what I'm talking about.
Say I'm in the 5th Panzerdivision channel family and I want to speak to the channel commanders in the 6th Panzerdivision channel family. I would...
I'm designing a keybind for a very large server. I suppose I could do all this from the TS client but it will be a big pain to do it and it wouldn't be easy to read (unless I do everything in a...
Bump for another friend trying to get it to work on a Mac.
Sorry Sszmidt. There are so many folks who hop onto these boards to complain without really understanding things. Again, sorry for jumping on you.
A new admin group bound to the entire server...
Stong words for someone with such a tiny post count. Are you a coder yourself? Most designers and coders realize that there will always be roadbloacks and issues that are not possible to forsee. ...
I think you meant "whisper to channel commander" instead of just "whisper to". If so, then I agree completely. In large servers with multiple channel families, whispering to all channel commanders...
another good idea
I really do hope they will give the client the option to not auto-expand other branches when players login switch channels. It can be a real pain on large servers.
In our case, we can't use it...
On failry large servers this becomes an almost unmanageable occurance since players log on and log off and switch channels about 20 times a minute. It wiuld be nice if it were possible to make the...
In my own biased opinion, TeamSpeak 2 was made for World War II Online. Both sides of this MMOG push the new TeamSpeak to its absolute limit in organizing hundreds of players on a single virtual...
