Do you run a router with DHCP??
I had problem with server dying after around 24 hours. This was due to lease on IP expiring. I set router to static IP and disabled DHCP problem fixed.

I have had my Server running now every since it first hit irc and it has ran flawless. I havent even had to restart it once since i first fired...
