Nice idea.
But only a problem if your Voice Acivation is not configured correctly (otherwise you should know when you transmit).

Yes, I think that is a better use for the scroll lock led.

If the led is ON, CAPS Lock can be OFF, it is not linked ( I tried it with VB). I my idea was not to switch on CAPS lock led, but SCROLL LOCK led (it is nearly never used). SCROLL LOCK led is the one on the right.

ok, now serious: when I'm sitting in front of my PC and use TS with a game,... I do not often look on my keyboard
=> a little led on my keayboard will in most cases stay unseen. I don't see an improvement to TS with such a "nice to have" feature !

actualy I have already feature requested this... but its not doable (yet) with the client sdk, so niels told me.
Sometimes you dont notice if (for example) you are breathing to your mic...a little light indicating speach would be cool...you could also use a different light to show if you are muted or not...it happens to me quite often that I mute in-game, and forget I muted...and talk ... and talk ... and talk...but nobody hears me

Yes, that mute problem is really annoying.
Another solution may be: If you have muted your mic, and TS receives input above the activation level for a configureable time period or if you push the ptt button, it will play the sound: Your microphone is muted.

lol @ pwk.linuxfan
Some people say they here me breathing, but when I'm on desktop, I look to see if I'm transmitting, and nothing lol. Maybe because people say I am and subconsciously "modify" my breathing before I look.
I'm known for muting and forgetting to unmute while talking to myslef. Gone whole maps like that.
