Preset microphone settings (switchable)
I have a suggestion for a future version of TeamSpeak...
Would it be possible to create "microphone presets" that could be assigned to key combinations and/or Windows input settings?
Here's what I mean: I have two microphones set up right now, one "normal" headset mic plugged into Mic In, and a wireless lapel microphone plugged into Line In. The lapel microphone is more of a test, to see if I could talk across the room, etc. (what's a geek to do with his time?
)
The lapel microphone is considerably more prone to echos than my headset, so I need to have different settings on the Sound Input/Output Settings dialog.
It would be nice to switch between two presets, say "Headset Settings" and "Wireless Settings", automatically when a keystroke is registered (Key Settings), or when TeamSpeak detects a change in the Windows audio input settings (Recording Control applet).
Thanks, and keep up the great work!! I use TeamSpeak nearly every day, and have a private server set up. Thanks for keeping it free!!
