TS Client 2.0 exe shuts down XP machine

Firstly I would like to thank all the Teamspeak team for their efforts

System Spec
Intel P4 1.7
WinXP home edition (Up to date)
Graphics Nvidia Gforce 2 Mx/Mx 400
Sound (Onboard) Sigmal Tel Intel Audio`97 Sound controller
Motherboard GBT Tecnonolgies GA-8TX using Intel 850 AGPset
512 Rimm Memory
DX 8.1

Problem
When I run the client 2.0 exe, my machine instantly shuts down

Attempted cures
Initially I though i may have had a bad dload file, so i re-dloaded
Still the same
I also tried installing to different drives folders than my initial TS 1.5 (Still same problem)

DXDiag reports no problems
Device Manager reports no conflicts
No additional codecs were needed during the installation process

According to Microsoft, the DX8.1b that is discussed in the forums is NOT for XP, and as it states it is not un-installable, i haven't gone down that path. Mainly because I don't want to flatten and reinstall my machine at this point.

TS1.5 has caused me no problems and am still using it to date

I hope you guys have a fix for this, as the dedicated server i regularly play on is upgrading to TS 2.0 in the next few days
