no sever
i am trying to make a team speak server i get my ip for my sever and the password but it keeps saying [16:34:16] No reply from server
Maybe the server is offline
or maybe teamspeak is not running on it
but the server is on. no one can see it at all why
plz help

please answer questions from the Forum rules.
- Firewall running ?
- Are you trying to connect to your own server (in your LAN ?) by using the WAN IP ? If yes, most surely a bad idea => within your LAN, only use the LAN IP !
For WAN players, read the server manual (key word: port forwarding)

Then you need to configure your router. The router needs to forward the requestet port to the computer which hosts the server. Else it's not working

If your tsserver is running at the port 8767 (standartport), then you need to forward the port from the router to the computer where your tsserver is running. The visitors are requesting a server at this port. If it's not forwarded the server never gets the information that someone wants to join the server and so the server didn't answer. The user only sees: No response from the server.
