Can we please clear a few things up ?

a) When is documentation coming out so we can set up TS2 with full knowledge of everything it can do .. and should do ?

b) Servertype=5 .. I've configured my server as this as it seems to be the default .. however .. what exactly are types 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 .. id like more security ..

c) after specifying a server password .. when connecting noone is asked to give it. Clearly I have made an error .. but I cant see where =/ .. any thoughts ?

When u set the server pasword, only unregisterd users are required to use it, registerd users connect using their registerd username/pass i do belive.

As for the servertype=5 im as baffled as you, but mine is also set to 5.

I have no registration system set up .. there is no information on how to set that up

Last night mid match for our clan 2 random people joined the server .. this is a serious issue imho as limiting who joins / doesn't is quite important especially if you are in a league situation. i.e. Savage http://<a href="http://www.savageuni...nivese.com</a> .. the last thing u need is an anonymous person joining.

So far the most information I've learn't about TS2 has been from this forum. However for security alone we may be forced to go back to Battlecom until some kind of server guide is released.

No its not specified in the php admin interface that you can do this. Or if it is this is not visible or explained.

Yes / did until I took it off the public list .. but its still a security issue.

I downloaded it Tuesday / Wednesday this week from Clan base .. unless there has been another TS2 release im unaware of ? I assume it is the same version.
