    Hosting a server

Ive been hosting a server and its great, but everytime i reboot i get a different IP address...i know there is a way to keep the same IP, someone was telling me about hosting from a web address. can someone explain to me how you can host a server and keep the same IP even after rebooting, or how to host from a website.

    1: get linux, dont reboot
2: Find an isp who gives you a stable ip adress. (some isp's give that for a few buck extra a month)
3: hosting from a website usualy requires some basic knowledge about unix (linux) systems and a login account. If you dont know what i am talking about, this is not yet for you

There is any easy way to do this that costs no money at all. Goto changeip.com and create an accout and choose a free domain. Now find a peice of software called direct update, this will connect to the DNS records and update you domain with a new ip address every time the ip on your machine changes. Now connect to your ts server with the domain instead of the IP address!
