Newbie needing to run 24/7 server
I am trying to set up and run a Teamspeak server for my gaming buds. If I create a server then turn my computer of the server goes away. Is there a service where they will host my TS 24/7 so anyone @ anytime can log into it? If so plz tell me how I can get it.
Thx

One way to get it to stay up 24/7 is DONT turn the server off. When you turn the machine off, it stops broadcasting itself.
Not really clear on your question. Are you trying to get your server to work when its turned off ??
If you are, its not possible.

you need to Rent a TS server then as stated. You cannot run services when your machine is off.
Just leave it on

I find it hard to believe that this was a serious question.

Wow.. theres people who turn off their computers?

If you're onl a Cable or xDSL then get an old computer with a Network adapter and use it as a TS2 server..
That way you can turn your regular computer off while the old hog is on and running TS2..

How would I find a provider who rents a permanent server channel (all I need at the moment is one channel for our guild)? Is there a list on this site somewhere that I'm missing?

Why don't you use the available open ones ?
My server is being used all the time by people I don't know, and frankly, I don't care that people do.
