Server not accessable from WAN/WAN address
Hello
I've read the forums for about 5 hours looking for my solution.
I understand most of the solutions but they dont seem to fix my problem.
I can't connect to the TS2 server unless I use the LAN address of my pc.
my freinds can't connect at all.
I couldn't connect to their servers ( they were running an older version beta-I think)
I know this... they did not have the option of getting the web server list in their client )
They upgraded their clients and still cant connect to me.
My server appears in the web server list but when I try to connect it says:
No reply from server, maybe the server is offline or maybe TS is not running on it.
I have tried bypassing my router ( connected the RJ45 cable to DSL modem, rebooted, verified web access)-still no connect, so not a router prob.
I have completely uninstalled Zone Alarm and cleaned the registry of all traces of it.
I can administer the server.
I can connect to other servers in the web server list.
Ghost Recon worked perfectly on ubi with no router/modem modifications.
Below you will find specs on my system and more things I have done to get TS2 to work.
I can ping the server's external address, just pinging the modem.
Appears to me now (9-3-02) to be related to the NAT in my modem. I can setup static NAT table in the modem, but it will not accept settings for static routing.
It might also help to know that neither Roger Wilco or the Voice over Net from MSN will function.

Geeeah!

You've tried everything I would have tried. I'm baffled.
Try this though. Set your servers port to 69 (common TFTP port) in your server.ini file and restart the server. Try to connect using that port. Just an idea.

Well, I tried it, sorry - no luck. I appreciate the suggestion though.
