I can't be heard or get the green light to light up.

Ok,

I can't get the mic or be heard in the client to show the light go green I know my mic works because I use it in Yahoo chat. Any idea would be helpful.

...if not, can you record sound in the windows sound recorder ? If not, make sure your micro is the only selected recording source (see sound mixer).
