admin login probs

I cant login using the defalt admin user name or password
I get message Authentication failed contact your administrator

need help

and I have tryed putting IP where localhost in the address

I got it to work once but when i shut down pc and restarted i could not get server to run or get in to admin server .
got that page not found.

tryed putting in ip and reinstalling

not sure where to go from here.

and one more thing when i restarted in system log there was a new admin pw

looking for the answer to the same problem, will not let me login as admin. is there a page I am missing?

as far as missing pages there isnt a hole lot of Documentation

its kinda hit miss right now

I got it running but i'm afraid to shut it down ..dont know if i'll beable to log back in.

I upgraded to IE 6
ran updates for windows
and used that server for windows patch 2.0.17.20 and
got it running but like i said i'm afraid to shut it down ......

it works nice wants it is running

you can find that server windows 2.0.17.20 on the forum under "Developer Releases " it does say "Run At Your Own Risk"

i lost my only account with superadmin-rights while 2.0.17.20 was running.
but i started it on command-line "server_windows.exe -adminpw=password" and than i could create the account again at the web-interface.
