Database initialization error: Library "sqlite.so" not found
Database initialization error: Library "sqlite.so" not found
RH 6.2 (yes, it's old).
Followed the Tutorial sticky, and the Installation Guide. I still get the same error above. The file exists just as it comes with the downloadable TS server .bz2 archive.
I also tried the MySQL modifications, but I use the binary release of MySQL which has no shared objects with it.
This brings up a couple of questions:
1) Do I have to install anything other than TS? After reading these forums all last night, I see that there are possible library issues (a 'ldd' showed everything present).
2) Has anyone gotten the MySQL piece working with the binary downloadables (not RPM, not source compiled) of MySQL?
EDIT: Looks like I either didn't stay up late enough, or was up too late. Found this post which looks like it might have the answer. FWIW, this might be a good thing to add to the FAQ in the future.Last edited by techwolf; 16-04-2004 at 15:26.
