VIA Onboard Sound Problem

Problem: TS 2 only produces static when useing VIA onboard sound.

System:
Epox 8KHA+ link here (english)

AMD XP 2000
256 Mb ram
VIA VT8233 full-duplex integrated sound
Nvidia Mx400
latest drivers for all
Realtek nic
30Gb Maxtor drive
Norton Avirus running realtime

I have changed all the volume settings i could find. I have boosted the mic and unboosted the mic. The Microsoft sound recorder (v5.1) that came with XP works great.. there is Zero static and my voice is crystal clear.

Is there any hope of making this work?? Help please.
btw, Roger Wilco does NOT work on this system either, but
TeamSpeak 1.5 DOES WORK, it just cant sustain a connection worth a crap.
I want to use TeamSpeak 2.x PLEEEEEEEEEZZZZZZZZZZZZzz!!

just to clarify you have tried wave and directsound in the TS options. i assume you have from the i tried everything line

yes i tried the wave and DSound options.
I have adjusted the volumes up and down on the TeamSpeak
and the Microsoft Sound Adjustment. I adjusts the mic inputs as well... to no avail

Again, TeamSpeak 1.5 works directly out of the box (heh zip?)
with little or no adjustments.
