Plz Stop Posting Linksys Router Tutorial
Ok i will try to explain this i have had a linksys router tech support have no idea on this so i took it upon my self to find out.
I am very new to this forum but not the software. I have seen loads and loads of post on "people outside my router cant join"
god gives me a migrane.
Ok hwg.
Note: This is only a linksys tutorial i dont know any other routers.
1.Open internet explorer and type in your url bar or adress bar what ever you call it. 192.168.1.1
It will then ask you for a username and password which you should have been suplied (if not your screwed) Enter that.
2. you should now be on your Router configuration With your lan ip adress in front of you.
3. Click advanced
4. Now forwarding
5. This is the important bit. Put in the customized applications "ts"
right put the external port to:
8767 to 8767
And the internal port to:
8767 to 8767
Now check udp and put the LAN ip adress of the computer hosting (right click your teamspeak icon then ip adresses then it should have 192.168.1.x x is the number you need)
so lets say the computer hosting has an ip adress of 192.168.1.4
we would enter that in the ip adress.
6. so you have done that click enable then apply.
7. Thats that done right click your teamspeak server and check your other ip adress there it should be somthing other that 192.168.1.x THAT IS THE IP ADRESS YOU GIVE PEOPLE TO JOIN TO.
Need any more help add me on msn.
