bug : big noise problem

I find that teamspeak is the best voice prog I have seen for a while.

But I have encountered a bug :
With no reason, we suddenly heard big noise, once from my client, once from client of my friend. The only solution is to restart the client, but with this stability it's difficult to use this software comfortablily.
I use the linux server on my SuSE8.0 distribution on a pentium 2 266Mhz. The client use a winXP on athlon 1400Mhz.

Yep today on a pc that i usualy dont work on, i noticed this bug too.

What is your hardware (cpu, soundcard, vidcard) + os? and what games?

I run a Win TS Server and am also getting clients joining that when they transmit all we can hear is like a interference/static noise. previously the same client has connected and talked fine to everyone but on certain occasions they will get this noise. I cannot find anything thats similar on these clients machines. It seems to do it when and as it feels like.

The same in no game...
It's a SBlive 5.1, a Geforce 2 pro and a Amd Athlon 1400Mhz.
It come with no reason....

But we have perhaps a solution. Since I choose not directX but wave as Sound Driver, I don't notice the bug...
I hope that this work so...

i have same problem.

the noise start with games and without games.

i tried directx and wave, no diference, same problem.

configuration: athlon 1400, gforce2mx, sblive player, winxp

Seems to be a general issue with XP and SB live.

Did you try the patch19?
