Problem with the windows server
hello, first i would like to say that teamspeak is the best program i have ever used for voice communication, keep up the good work team!
anywho, on with my problem. im running the server on windows XP pro, 1.7ghz celeron 128mb ram. linksys 4 port cablr/dsl router and modem (cable). i get this message after i leave the server running for a while
31-05-04 01:54:49,ERROR,All,TTSUDPSender.Execute, SID: 1 Exception1 EIdSocketError.Socket Error # 10065
No route to host.
31-05-04 01:54:49,ERROR,All,TTSUDPSender.Execute, SID: 1 Exception2 EIdSocketError.Socket Error # 10065
No route to host.
i dont understand what it is, but in order to fix it, i have to either stop and start the server, or close and re-open the server application.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks

it worked fine when i had windows 98, i never had a problem, but now, with xp pro, it seems to say connection time out after a while....could it be a BIOS issue? a random setting of inactivity on the xp?

make sure you have UDP 8767 forwarded from the Router to your Machine and that the XP Firewall is either disabled or letting this port trough.
Have a look here
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...ErrorCodes.asp
10065
Also make sure you allow outgoing connections to the Webpost URL .

ok i fixed the problem. for those of you who have been having this problem, i suggest you read this. right, when your IP gets released and reobtained, it kills the internet for a very short time. even if you have a static ip, it will just reobtain the same IP. i solved this issue by putting this computer outside of the DCHP range on my router. usualy if you have a linksys router, the range goes from 100 to 149 by default. i put the server on 192.168.1.90 and entered all the DNS data and DCHP data manually. this prevents this computer from being subjected to renewing an IP because the internal is static. everything works fine now, and to make sure it is go to the cmd prompt in xp type ipconfig /all and see if there is a release date. if there isnt, your set
